Type: 6 on 6
Emphasis:
Good for working on transition and serve/serve receive
How it works: One side starts serving; they must win two serving rallies in a row. If they miss a serve they start back to 0. Once their side has won two serving rallies in a row, scoring begins. At this point any team can score and it is typical rally scoring. The coach will introduce a ball to the serving side; this is a last chance ball and must go over. Play continues for 3 minutes from the start of serving. After 3 minutes are up, the other side serves; play continues in the same way. Rotate through all 12 rotations, 6 each side: 36 minutes.
Tips: To get the most out of this game you want it to move fast so the team is transitioning back and forth constantly. When a ball goes down make sure someone picks it up and gets it back to the coach quickly so another ball can be introduced.
